About our client
Our client is a publicly owned manufacturer of snacks and confectionery products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual revenue of over $4B.
Position Location
Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd shift Nearest Metro City: Hershey, PA
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Ensure entire maintenance personnel proactively support all plant goals including safety measures
2) Establish maintenance measures that fully support other plant goals
3) Coordinate daily interaction between all aspects of maintenance in all areas of duty and all other departments in the plant
4) Ensure that maintenance personnel have proper qualifications, are properly trained and motivated to work productively (as a team and individually) using TPM processes
5) Operate as the Plant Monitor including scheduling and complying to all aspects of SAP PM
6) Lead proactive maintenance
7) Ensure compliance with established standards and procedures (safety, sanitation, GMPs, housekeeping and other plant programs)
8) Ensure compliance with administrative and reporting procedures, while complying with overtime and seniority provisions of the contract/trade agreement (as applicable)
9) Participate, initiate and support all TPM initiatives (personally and with all maintenance personnel)
10) Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in the proper operating condition to meet established plant needs, safety and sanitation standards
Requirements
1) BS in Business or a technological field (or equivalent experience)
2) Minimum 7 years of experience in the food industry with minimum 5 years in a supervisory role
3) Experience in scheduling and complying to all aspects of SAP PM and superb knowledge of TPM
