About our client
Our client is a publicly owned manufacturer of wine and spirits. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and employs over 1000 people.
Position Location
Quality Control Engineer Nearest Metro City: Nashville, TN
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Enhance quality/food-safety programs
2) Improve MICS and HACCP score compliance
3) Manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives
4) Ensure that all quality programs (HACCP, PQMS and ISO), systems and compliance meet corporate specifications
5) Provide leadership/guidance to HACCP Coordinator
6) Ensure all internal and external audits are completed above acceptable levels
7) Work within framework of approved procedures, policies, processes and budgets to implement and manage all quality initiatives
Requirements
1) BS in a scientific field (Chemistry preferred)
2) 5 – 7 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging and quality (food and beverage industry preferred) as well as management expertise
3) Knowledge of ISO-9001, SAP, BATF regulations for distilled spirits and expertise in Math, Statistics and computers
