About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of syrups, sauces and flavors. The company has been in operation for more than 50 years and employs more than 100 people.
Position Location
Engineering Operations Manager Nearest Metro City: San Francisco, CA
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control and evaluate the maintenance of processing units
2) Develop and implement safety procedures
3) Plan and manage departmental budget
4) Direct the preventive maintenance/repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems
5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements
6) Plan and implement changes to machinery/equipment, towards greater efficiency
7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within the Maintenance and Electrical Departments
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) in Engineering or a related field
2) Minimum 10 years of experience including 5 years in the food industry as a Team Leader (PM Specialist preferred)
3) Local candidates preferred
