About our client
Our client is a privately owned food and beverage manufacturer. The company has been in operation for over 25 years and employs more than 200 people.
Position Location
Maintenance Team Leader Nearest Metro City: San Antonio, TX
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Handle maintenance operations and set priorities by inspecting production operations
2) Check production logs periodically throughout the shift
3) Assist the Supervisor in determining production priorities and assisting personnel in repairing machine breakdowns
4) Perform administrative duties (assisting with interviewing and hiring, counseling and disciplining personnel, etc.)
5) Ensure permits are issued and posted as well as parts are ordered and in stock
6) Schedule Maintenance personnel by scheduling preventative maintenance and correctives with the Planner Scheduler
7) Ensure equipment manuals are updated
8) Instruct mechanics on daily routines and preventative maintenance
9) Ensure Maintenance personnel enter the daily routine and breakdowns in the computer
10) Instruct and train mechanics on safety procedures by conducting weekly safety meetings
11) Train mechanics on proper usage of equipment and hardware as well as inspecting tools and work areas
12) Supervise maintenance operations
13) Set priorities for servicing machine breakdowns
14) Schedule personnel for preventative maintenance, repair work and daily routines
15) Maintain and update personnel on safety procedures
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) or Diploma (2 year)
2) 3 – 4 years of experience in a supervisory role
3) Lock-out/tag-out license, forklift certification, confined space certification and valid driver’s license
