| Responsibilities |
1) Manage the procurement of key ingredients
2) Establish strategic sourcing strategies
3) Act as a main contact and liaise with suppliers
4) Negotiate contracts and actively drive cost-optimization efforts
5) Maintain understanding of external markets (related to ingredients) and the impact of these markets on the business
6) Handle the establishment of annual cost standards
7) Manage and understand transportation methods, costs, terms, transit times as well as documentation |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) in Business or a related discipline
2) Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP) designation
3) Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience (consumer-packaged goods manufacturing preferred) with experience in commodity and raw-material procurement |
