About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of tea and iced-tea bags. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of $33M.
Position Location
Area Sales Manager – Mountain States Nearest Metro City: Las Vegas, NV
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Oversee all aspects of sales in the region
2) Develop as well as implement sales and marketing strategies
3) Manage distributors, retailers and brokers
4) Establish, maintain and increase business with customers
5) Develop and gain opportunities to sell solutions to all targeted and potential accounts
6) Evolve effective account strategies and ensure closing of maximum orders
7) Complete short- and long-term forecast timing of order closing
8) Develop and manage relationships with representatives
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year)
2) Minimum 3 years of experience in working with brokers/distributors/operators (Mountain State territories preferred) and national, regional and multi-unit account experience a plus
3) 6 – 8 years of food service experience (CPG and private label expertise) and willingness to travel – up to 50% (driver’s license preferred)
