About our client
Our client is a privately owned processor of fresh fruits and vegetables. The company has been in operation for more than 20 years and has over $200M in annual sales revenue.

Production Supervisor Maine
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Supervise hourly employees on a shift within the department to finish manufacturing workloads with due emphasis on quality, yield, efficiency, food and employee safety
2) Apply knowledge of processes, equipment and system capability to set challenging individual and facility standards within the plant
3) Develop operating plans for production
4) Achieve performance standards with regard to safety, line utilization and quality
5) Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/costs along with anticipating and correcting trends that would compromise achievement of financial targets
6) Oversee and ensure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
7) Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) or equivalent experience
2) Minimum 10 years of experience in food manufacturing (canning, frozen foods, perishables and appetizers preferred) along with a quality assurance background
3) Ability to interface with production, scheduling, warehouse and plant management
