| Responsibilities |
1) Direct, coordinate and evaluate 21 order
selectors, 9 other warehouse employees and an Assistant Supervisor 2) Supervise 1 non-supervisory employee 3) Oversee supervision of the organization's policies and applicable laws 4) Interview, hire and train employees 5) Plan, assign and direct work 6) Appraise performance and reward good performance 7) Ensure employees maintain discipline 8) Address complaints and resolve problems 9) Advise employees on care and preservation of items received (stored and shipped) 10) Utilize methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining and shipping of stock along with related problems 11) Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures as well as determine adequacy of stock levels 12) Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow 13) Oversee light maintenance repairs 14) Issue written and oral instructions 15) Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures 16) Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates 17) Maintain harmony among workers and resolves grievances 18) Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates 19) Adjust errors and complaints 20) Manage picking/packing, receiving, storing, inventorying and shipping of products in warehouse |
| Requirements |
1) Minimum 5 years of experience in HACCP, GMPs, USDA and regulatory compliance 2) Excellent knowledge of maintenance with expertise in inventory software, spreadsheets and word processing (Roadnet preferred) 3) Ability to withstand exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extremely cold temperature as well as lift weight (50 – 100lbs) |
