Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Administer collective agreement 2) Handle all aspects of labour relations including grievance and disciplinary investigation 3) Assist in preparing briefs as required for arbitration cases 4) Act as a liaison between union and management 5) Investigate and resolve employee concerns/complaints/harassment 6) Counsel management on the application of various policies/procedures 7) Provide counseling to supervisors/managers 8) Facilitate Attendance Management Program 9) Provide leadership on administering employee benefit, payroll, pension programs, and HRIS 10) Conduct research into human resource programs/activities and recommend changes or innovation where desirable 11) Prepare and administer HR budget 12) Provide exceptional customer service to all staff and management 13) Act as the gatekeeper for all Leadership Edge initiatives 14) Develop and execute muscle-building activities throughout the plant 15) Support process improvement/Six Sigma activities related to Human Resources |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) preferred and CHRP designation 2) Minimum 5 years of experience in the HR function 3) Working experience in a unionized environment |
