Position Location Quality Control Manager Nearest Metro City: Toronto, ON Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Plant Manager Responsibilities 1) Administration, supervision and operations of the Quality Control Department in the Plant 2) Ensuring internal audits are conducted in accordance with corporate policy and guidelines, scheduling of external audits, in house testing for air quality, swabbing and surprise equipment inspections, end code analysis, data gathering, equipment specifications and testing; new product development, implementing formulation or procedural changes 3) Establishing of measurable product standards and procedures for competition comparisons and industry benchmarking with competition 4) Establishment of documented complaint-handling procedure, including communications, investigation action/recovery and follow up 5) Developing and monitoring of Standard Operating Procedures, conducting root cause analysis and continuous improvement programs 6) Oversee the Company’s HACCP and ISO certification application. Requirements 1) Bachelor of Science, Food Science, Microbiology, or equivalent 2) Minimum 5 years of quality control/quality assurance experience 3) Familiar with CFIA rules and regulations, HACCP, GMP, SOP and ISO 4) Strong analytical, communication and technical skills
