About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of food products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has over 400+ employees.
Position Location
Quality Assurance Manager Nearest Metro City: Abbotsford, WI
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Develop, implement and maintain HACCP and SSOP programs
2) Manage and schedule Quality Control employees
3) Oversee USDA/Regulatory Compliance activities, including labeling, N.R. responses and general USDA relations
4) Coordinate Plant sanitation activities and pest control activities
5) Coordinate microbiological sampling, testing and report generation
6) Purchase sanitation chemicals, related supplies and production support equipment
7) Maintain supplies and provide first aid to employees
8) Develop, implement and maintain a humane animal treatment handling program
9) Coordinate activities for Food Safety, Quality and Humane Handling audits
10) Act as backup for Lab Technician’s I and II as necessary
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 2-5 years of experience
3) Experience in recent meat processing plant
4) Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, USDA
