About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of frozen food products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has multi-million dollar annual sales revenue.
Position Location
Production Supervisor Nearest Metro City: Mansfield, TX
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Production Manager
Responsibilities
1) Implement production schedules, plan operations to ensure proper, operational safety, raw materials, staffing, running of production, quantity and quality
2) Ensure continuous progress in the Production process by cross training, teammates to perform multiple classifications without jeopardizing safety, quality, and productivity
3) Coordinate integration of production responsibilities with all company departments.
4) Develop in all teammates a sense of concern and action for standards set by Safety, Sanitation, Maintenance, Quality Control and Accounting management
5) Ensure that all manufacturing variances are met or exceeded
6) Responsible for conservation on all utilities, ingredients, supplies, and Personnel manning
7) Responsible for auditing and tracking overfill at the pouch, finished case level, LN2 tracking, waste usage both ingredient and packaging and all other items related items to that operation.
8) Responsible for timely reaction not to exceed 48 hours on reporting and filling out any investigation paperwork on any hold product created on there shift
9) Responsible for reviewing daily man hour yield reports, Kronos time reports, review previous production uptime, 1st pass quality issues and reviews any food safety or teammate related safety issues from previous production day
10) Directs preparation, completion and submission of production paperwork. Reviews consolidated reports, checks variances and develops action plan to improve variances.
11) Ensures timely and accurate reporting on all ingredients and packaging used during the course of the scheduled production operation
Requirements
1) An Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred Experience in lieu of degree will be considered
2) Must have least 3-5 years as a Production Supervisor
3) Must have basic understanding and be able to apply basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
4) Must be able to work in a Union based environment
5) Spanish is a plus
