Management |
| Responsibilities |
1) Report to the Director of Sales to execute the assigned channel strategies of the company Sales Plan 2) Participate in the development and implement of an aggressive sales strategy for the assigned territory 3) Develop and implement sales forecast for assigned territory 4) Meet or exceed all agreed upon sales target goals and budgets 5) Identify, prospect and secure relationships with targeted clients (i.e. pastry chefs, distributors, confectioners, food manufacturers) 6) Aggressively gain new clients via personal presentations, follow-up and telemarketing 7) Ensure effective execution of sales through research and extensive client follow-up 8) Utilize ERP system for all CRM functions, keep current with all customer contacts 9) Provide analysis and reports as required (i.e. competitive, marketing, trends, forecasts, etc.) 10) Work in concert with Eastern Region Sales to ensure congruence with all channel sales operations 11) Represent company at assigned regional and national trade shows and events 12) Special projects as assigned |
| Requirements |
1) At least 10 years experience developing sales in the food and beverage industry 2) Strong contacts within the national and regional chocolate communities 3) Strong sales experience with food service industry, specifically as it relates to chocolate sales 4) Successful track record in account development, project management and innovative presentation skills 5) High energy self-starter who has a positive outlook and is passionate about chocolate 6) Strong analytic and organizational skills 7) Excellent written and oral communication skills along with negotiating and relationship skills |
