Chief Engineer |
| Responsibilities |
1) Properly maintain equipment; perform scheduled preventive maintenance programs/tests on all plant equipment
2) Evaluate and repair equipment during emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
3) Troubleshoot and make recommendations for continuous improvement
4) Provide coaching and support for staff with emphasis on techniques to maximize operational effectiveness
5) Develop and maintain a work environment favorable for employee relations.
6) Cultivate flexibility for quick-response operations |
| Requirements |
1) Minimum 5 years hands-on maintenance experience in a food manufacturing facility
2) Knowledge of PLCs
3) Knowledge of GMPs within a food manufacturing facility
4) Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, compressors, motors, controllers, pumps, conveyors
5) Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
6) Trades qualification (Millwright, Electrical, or Welding with mechanical experience) an asset |
