About our client
Our client is a publicly owned manufacturer of snacks & confectionary products. The company has been in operation for more than 5 years and has annual revenue of over $25MM with more than 300 people.
Position Location
Quality Manager Kentucky
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Plant Manager
Responsibilities
1) Lead development and implementation of quality programs
2) Oversee the mentoring, training and coaching of Direct Reports, Indirect Reports and Operations personnel
3) Collect as well as interpret data and issue reports of findings and trends
4) Maintain and enhance quality programs
5) Interact with customers
6) Develop overall plant QA program
7) Enhance quality/food safety programs
8) Ensure that outgoing products conform to established quality parameters, regulatory requirements and food safety requirements
9) Manage technical staff and effectively execute business plan objectives
Requirements
1) Food Science degree
2) Knowledge of HACP and GMPs
3) Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in food industry
