Maintenance Manager |
| Responsibilities |
1) Provide preventive maintenance to all ammonia and freon refrigeration systems and steam boilers (electrical and mechanical) 2) Work to accomplish maximum daily production as well as preventive/predictive maintenance to all refrigeration systems and steam boiler 3) Reduce downtime and ensure peak plant efficiency as well as perform troubleshooting and equipment repairs 4) Work in a team environment with safety and maintain an understanding of process safety management 5) Perform preventive, corrective maintenance for all refrigeration system and steam boiler 6) Assist all departments to achieve and maintain goals/standards 7) Operate and maintain all aspect of ammonia and freon refrigeration equipment including calibration adjustment and installations 8) Manage all boiler operations (fire tube boiler and related equipment) 9) Adhere to all safety/GMP practices and requirements in performing tasks to ensure his/her own safety along with co-workers 10) Perform tasks within guidelines of good maintenance techniques and any applicable code 11) Solicit inputs to improve overall maintenance process as well as participate in the improvement of the production process 12) Provide training to others within the department and suggest improvements to work process 13) Make sound independent decisions as well as maintain high levels of productivity 14) Assist in developing individual and departmental goals as well as direct others (as needed) within the work team 15) Plan and execute own work as well as provide assistance to others in planning and executing 16) Assist in orienting and training other team members as well as demonstrate commitment to the team and company goals 17) Participate in team achievements as well as ensure punctuality and attendance, crucial to meet daily production goals 18) Communicate with other departments to make sure customer service is provided on a timely and efficient manner 19) Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on all different kinds of refrigeration equipment 20) Operate forklifts with proper training as well as service pumps, motors within a mechanical system 21) Prepare all maintenance reports and purchase requisitions with the proper information 22) Maintain safe and neat working area |
| Requirements |
1) Minimum 5 years of experience in working with Freon and ammonia refrigeration systems 2) 5 years of experience in electrical controls troubleshooting and installations for refrigeration and boiler systems (PLCs and building maintenance) 3) Minimum 3 years of experience in working with steam boiler systems 4) Understanding of process safety management and knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems 5) Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish a plus) |
