| Responsibilities |
1) Oversee the operation of the IT Department and ensure it aligns with the business objectives of the organization 2) Develop and manage all application portfolios for each department 3) Attain all IT service level agreements for the user community within the organization 4) Formulate and deploy long-term plans for enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication techniques 5) Manage IT Department, including business requirements, project planning as well as organize and negotiate allocation of resources 6) Re-engineer applications support where needed 7) Define/communicate milestones, service level agreements and resource allocation 8) Develop and review budgets for and received from IT Department 9) Review performance of IT systems 10) Benchmark, analyze and report on the improvement of IT systems and services 11) Oversee end-user services (help desk and technical support) 12) Develop and improve all IT policies and procedures, including security, disaster recovery and consultant contracts including service agreements 13) Manage IT staffing (including staffing recommendations, supervisory, scheduling, development, evaluation and disciplinary actions) 14) Establish and maintain communication with executives and users pertaining to IT activities 15) Ensure IT staff address full to company and IT-related policies and procedures 16) Plan additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with business needs 17) Oversee the implementation of network security 18) Research user-friendly network advances and identify proactive solutions to satisfy needs 19) Oversee the planning and management of the company’s telephone and door security systems 20) Manage companywide upgrade efforts 21) Create a help desk “friendly” environment |
| Requirements |
1) Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 2) Minimum 10 years of related work experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management and policy development 3) Technical knowledge of current network and PC operation systems, hardware, protocols, and standards 4) Experience in system design and development 5) In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT 6) Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills 7) Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language 8) Highly motivated and self-directed 9) Non-unionized candidate preferred |
