| Responsibilities |
1) Manage and direct staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws 2) Oversee interviewing, hiring and training of employees, plan, assign and direct work, appraisals, rewards and discipline of employees as well as addressing complaints and resolving problems 3) Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies 4) Ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company 5) Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations in order to achieve the organization's goals and objectives 6) Manage all phases of product training for distributors and manufacturer’s representatives in the Western Hemisphere 7) Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, business and technology partnerships and others 8) Ensure utilization of the electronic pricing and customer resource management tools by the sales person and sales channels 9) Produce regular performance metrics for the sales channels and monitor performance against set metrics with timely and regular reporting tools 10) Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry including economic trends 11) Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets 12) Monitor competitors’ products, sales and marketing activities 13) Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners 14) Establish and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events. 15) Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. 16) Manage discounts allowed to distributors, OEMs and key accounts 17) Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs 18) Prepare and distribute performance metrics on a regular basis to all sales personnel and all sales channels 19) Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution 20) Establish sales territories, quotas and goals and represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products 21) Oversee set-up, staffing, coordination and planning of all trade shows and merchandising activities 22) Meet with key clients, assist sales representatives while maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals 23) Coordinate liaison between Sales Department and other sales related units 24) Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform budgetary requirements 25) Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness |
| Requirements |
1) Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience in a related field (MBA preferred) 2) 8 – 10 years of experience with demonstrated people-oriented management experience in leading a team of over 15 people 3) ISO 9000 procedures and policy experience 4) Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics and rotating equipment preferred 5) Excellent organizational skills 6) Team player |
