| Responsibilities |
1) Provide financial planning, analysis, reporting, support and leadership for different facilities 2) Lead the preparation of the annual operational and overhead budget 3) Monitor the financial performance of the plant and help produce at the lowest possible cost 4) Manage a combined operating budget 5) Ensure reprocess versus destruction, or warehouse utilization/direct shipment, decisions are taken based on sound cost benefit analysis 6) Make sure decisions are taken/recommended to develop aggressive budget allocations to the various cost centers and establish effective labor cost standards
7) Ensure decisions are taken during the year to meet financial commitments with
changing business environment 8) Reconcile inventory accounts monthly 9) Support both bottling and distillation operations 10) Lead and serve as a role model in embedding company systems, processes, WOW and culture 11) Provide leadership to direct reports (2 cost analysts, 1 finance manager and 1 union) and peers 12) Serve as the on-site finance leader and a member of the leadership team supporting the Plant Director and department managers 13) Submit reports to the Supply Finance Director 14) Provide monthly financial and operational performance reports, KPI scorecards and variance analysis to the plant management/divisional staff 15) Organize and complete the month end financial closing activities 16) Develop annual operating budget and quarterly LE forecasts and identify risks/opportunities 17) Provide cost analysis and financial system support 18) Manage the accuracy and data integrity of the balance sheet and P&L 19) Ensure that financial control process is of the highest standards 20) Administer the annual operating budget by providing accurate and timely financial reporting as well as supporting cost center managers with sound analysis 21) Ensure Management Team complies with company’s internal control standards and CARM requirements 22) Develop annual operating budget, labor standards and update risk and opportunity estimate monthly 23) Ensure the ability to connect transactional details to decision support required to drive plant cost per case performance 24) Hold financial review meetings with the cost center managers and generate new cost savings ideas 25) Follow through with the action plan for implementing cost savings projects and actual savings realized 26) Lead the Plant Team for accurate and timely monthly financial close, KPI and BPM reporting 27) Ensure all inventory accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis 28) Manage all internal and external audit relationships |
| Requirements |
1) 4-year degree (MBA/professional accounting designation preferred) 2) 5 – 7 years of accounting and financial analysis experience in manufacturing environment 3) 3 – 5 years of managerial experience along with handling a staff of around 230 employees and reporting to 4 direct reports 4) Extensive knowledge in operations with SAP system 5) In-depth regulatory technical expertise 6) Superb language skills (French and English) |
