About our client
Our client is a publicly owned producer of meat products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $1B.
Position Location
Operations Manager Oklahoma
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Plant Manager
Responsibilities
1) Plan and manage the Operations Division
2) Establish, implement and monitor policies and procedures for effective and efficient operation of assigned areas
3) Lead long and short-term planning effort for operations
4) Develop, implement and monitor procedures and practices
5) Respond to various operational problems and determine appropriate action or resolutions
6) Manage labor planning, scheduling and timely movement of products
7) Oversee production planning and product distribution
8) Manage business from the production floor
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year)
2) 5+ years of experience in meat processing (pork preferred) as well as experience in a unionized plant environment
3) Knowledge of food processing, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
4) Excellent project management skills
