About our client
Our client is a publicly owned manufacturer of beverage. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $1B.
Position Location
Production Resource Pennsylvania
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Plan and manage the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems)
2) Achieve performance targets as agreed with production management
3) Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and constantly improved
4) Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings
5) Coach, mentor and develop team members to meet current/future business requirements
6) Prioritize, schedule and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency
7) Review daily maintenance effectiveness with Maintenance Mechanic and team to identify opportunities for improvement
8) Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives
9) Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and production management
10) Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently
11) Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets
Requirements
1) 4-year degree (Masters preferred)
2) 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role with line ownership
3) Food and beverage background along with cost awareness of operations
4) Experience in modern maintenance techniques (MP2)
5) Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulation
6) Understanding of processes and mechanics of line equipment
7) Excellent problem solving and communication skills
8) Proficiency in computers (MS Excel and Word)
9) Ability to multi-task and delegate as well as manage and develop employees
