| Responsibilities |
1) Deliver best practice continuous improvement framework 2) Drive manufacturing excellence across packaging, brewing and distilling within company’s global supply 3) Build capabilities in manufacturing excellence across company sites as well as develop KPIs and standard processes and procedures 4) Ensure to built an internal and external benchmarking network 5) Work closely with the site leadership teams to understand current culture and engagement 6) Develop strategy to effectively implement the perfect plant project 7) Ensure a zero harm safety culture is embedded in all activities 8) Lead, engage, inspire develop and safely execute the continuous improvement strategy 9) Design, drive and support improvements to deliver and exceed business objectives and to drive implementation of ‘Perfect Plant’ initiatives 10) Work with colleagues across global supply 11) Lead, coach, mentor and support the plant leadership teams 12) Share, learn and transfer skills and knowledge in embedding the KPI definitions, database and processes to drive business insight to deliver step change performance 13) Build and leverage relationships internal and external for the company 14) Facilitate of team based improvement activities with general principles of effective management and supervision of skilled teams 15) Lead, drive, support and ensure constant focus on KPI improvement initiatives 16) Identify opportunities and the delivery through the site teams in transforming the manufacturing processes 17) Work with the local teams to diagnose the current operating system, evaluate the management infrastructure 18) Support operations and determine the capabilities and mindsets that exist on the specific sites 19) Oversee creation of engagement and communication strategy to ensure successful implementation 20) Support the generation of the design and implementation of solutions to deliver the objectives of the perfect plant project 21) Develop training materials fitting with requirements of the site and ensure they are highly effective both in functional knowledge transfer 22) Drive mindset changes to enable continuous improvement across our sites 23) Lead, change agent for perfect plant and to deliver best practice continuous improvement framework 24) Arrange for the perfect plant program which is a global initiative to drive manufacturing excellence across packaging, brewing and distilling within company’s global supply 25) Initiate in developing and implementing a global set of KPIs and standard processes and procedures building an internal and external benchmarking network 26) Develop strategy to effectively implement the perfect plant project 27) Share ‘Best Practice’ methodology, through perfect partnerships 28) Share, learn and transfer skills and knowledge in embedding the KPI definitions, database and processes to drive business insight and deliver step change performance 29) Build and leverage relationships internal and external 30) Facilitate team based improvement activities, with general principles of effective management and supervision of skilled teams 31) Identify opportunities and the delivery through the site teams in transforming the manufacturing processes 32) Work with the local teams to diagnose the current operating system 33) Evaluate the management infrastructure that supports operations and determine the capabilities and mindsets that exist on the specific sites 34) Oversee creation of engagement and communication strategy to ensure successful implementation 35) Develop training materials fitting with requirements of the site and ensure they are highly effective both in functional knowledge transfer 36) Initiate in implementation of leading World Class Manufacturing services |
| Requirements |
1) BA/BS or technical degree/diploma in a relevant discipline 2) 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (senior operational/project management role) 3) Experience in Six Sigma (black belt) or Toyota Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing as well as SAP 4) Experience in a manufacturing union environment a plus 5) Track record of delivering improvement by aligning key colleagues behind a clear, shared vision for change 6) Knowledge of regulatory requirements CARM and LTO 7) Proficient in MS Office and other computer software tools (spreadsheets, project planning, presentation software, SPC) 8) Excellent engagement advanced facilitation and communications skills 9) Ability to prepare and deploy communication vehicles 10) Ability to prioritize, multi-task and be flexible to varying demands of the role 11) Willingness to travel to KY and TN – up to 50% |
