| Responsibilities |
1) Manage Maintenance Team and support bottling
lines as well as blending, barreling and finished goods operation
2) Plan, schedule and be flexible to changing priorities and conditions
3) Focus on problem solving and achieving plant improvements
4) Provide the necessary engineering work to accomplish tasks such as
troubleshooting and modification
5) Coordinate activities with internal customers and external vendors
6) Ensure that parts and material are available to support overall plant
activities production and non-production
7) Maintain good employee relations within the organization and with numerous
vendors
8) Develop and ensure Maintenance staff is led towards a self-directed work team
9) Coordinate activities with production, planning and other areas of the plant
10) Develop the staff to effectively troubleshoot production equipment issue
11) Perform mechanical and electrical skill assessment
12) Develop training program to facilitate staff, motivate and promote good
working relationships
13) Create and maintain a safe work environment to minimize loss time and
resultant monetary losses due to accidents on the job
14) Develop and administer a total maintenance program for production equipment
15) Perform mechanical and electrical skill assessment and develop training
program for staff
16) Identify projects to improve production efficiencies, reduce material loss,
improve quality, safety, housekeeping, GMP and other related KPIs
17) Assess the priority of production line downtime to render repairs
18) Facilitate, motivate and promote good working relationships
19) Ensure the safe and efficient application of skilled maintenance manpower
and equipment for the routine and emergency repair of plant equipment
20) Work with outside vendors, technicians and sales reps as it applies to plant
maintenance
21) Ensure the safe operation of the department including meeting plant KPIs for
safety
22) Direct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and
repair including diagnoses of malfunctions of machinery and equipment
23) Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders for mechanics and assign
duties
24) Direct the dismantling, assembling, fabrication and installing of industrial
and bottling line machinery
25) Lead change initiatives to improve safety, production methods, equipment
performance and quality of product
26) Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual
departments
27) Oversee allocation and staffing constraints and establish priorities on
repair of equipment taking into considering production constraints
28) Ensure production needs not fulfilled
29) Make sure available staff used effectively
30) Oversee evaluation of employee ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
malfunctioning packaging equipment |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) 2) 8+ years of experience with 5 years of experience/training in maintenance and maintenance supervision 3) Experience in unionized environment (working directly with union) 4) Experience in root case analysis, continuous improvement and 5 – 6 changeovers per week 5) Heavy robotics, CMMS and SAP experience 6) Proven leadership and employee mentoring skills |
