| Responsibilities |
1) Provide support for the General Manager and work to exceed customer expectations 2) Foster an ethic of teamwork and develop staff’s abilities and competencies 3) Achieve the financial objectives established for assigned location 4) Serve as a role model for customer-first behaviors according to company standards 5) Build a team of customer-focused employees through coaching and measurement 6) Handle difficult customer situations professionally 7) Respond to customer inquiries on a timely basis 8) Direct and manage store sales efforts (DSD promotions, retail sales, fundraising, up-selling and route sales) 9) Work with the General Manager to achieve business plan objectives and profitability as set forth in the store operating plan and in the established financial goals 10) Understand and implement procedures to maximize efficiencies and control variances in daily production of product and overall store performance 11) Implement store quality control procedures, including standards 12) Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize labor hours 13) Inspect, troubleshoot and assess any production or equipment problems to ensure optimum utilization and performance 14) Demonstrate safety consciousness and promote store safety (shoes, floor cones, etc.) 15) Maintain a high level of store sanitation and cleanliness (cleaning schedules, training, etc.) 16) Oversee proper upkeep of store facility and equipment 17) Assist the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training and dispute resolution 18) Supervise all shift personnel as well as build a team of customer-focused employees and foster teamwork 19) Assume duty for and demonstrate leadership in employee development, including that of key staff 20) Assist in communicating to store employees and enforcing all store policies, standards and practices 21) Work with the General Manager in completing and managing income and expense budgets, including accounts/receivable, profit and loss, etc. 22) Assist General Manager in completing required corporate reporting documentation, both financial and operational 23) Manage company resources responsibility including inventory control 24) Communicate and model company standards and policies 25) Implement directives from store, corporate and divisional management efficiently and effectively 26) Develop and maintain store organization to promote efficient operations |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) preferred 2) Minimum 5 years of sales, management, production and customer service experience 3) Supervisory experience (hiring, training and disciplining employees)
4) Production background with previous experience managing production lines
(baked goods preferred) 5) Must be customer focused, friendly and
self-motivated |
