About our client
Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of food and beverage products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and has annual sales of over $100M.
Position Location
Assistant Accountant/Data Coordinator North Dakota
Salary Reports to
Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Management
Responsibilities
1) Gather and compile pallet tickets, waste sheets, regrind tickets and other operational data
2) Enter data gathered into daily report
3) Update bar coding (daily production) in MAS 200
4) Put seal numbers in to spreadsheet
5) Notify QA of any discrepancies between production paperwork and hold worksheet numbers
6) Maintain finished goods as well as hold and partial warehouse inventories in MAS 200
7) Prepare purchase orders when necessary (flour, etc.)
8) File inventory adjustments, disassemblies, bill of materials, issues and daily paperwork
9) Assist managers with inventory information as requested
10) Complete NAFTA paperwork for Canadian shipments
11) Assist shippers with inventory information as requested and generate new shipping slips
12) Assist shippers with bar code shipping as necessary and prepare bill of ladings for shipments
13) Assist managers with finding packaging as needed
14) E-mail or fax bill of ladings in PDF format to certain customers
15) Reconcile incoming shipping slips with supporting documentation
16) Investigate shipping discrepancies (negative lot dates, paperwork for customers who claim to have received different quantities than listed on the bill of lading)
17) Maintain log, product action forms and update the information in MAS 200
18) Input receipt of goods
19) Reconcile incoming shipping slips with supporting documentation and enter into MAS 200
20) Make copies of and file shipping documents from the previous day
21) Assist with month-end physical counts and maintain shipping log
22) Schedule pickups/deliveries as well as check inventories and production to make sure orders are ready to be shipped
23) Prepare, update and e-mail out the action register
24) Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
1) Diploma (2 year)
2) Minimum 2 years of accounting experience as well as knowledge of production schedules and data entry
3) Proficient in MS Office specially Excel
4) Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
5) Strong verbal and listening communications skills
6) Ability to organize resources and establish priorities
7) Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
8) High attention to detail and accuracy
