| Responsibilities |
1) Oversee HACCP and SSOP program compliance including pest control programs, employee and supervisory training programs, GMP training, support for corrective action plans and ongoing product updates 2) Prepare, implement and monitor all department schedules 3) Oversee USDA and FSIS programs and act as a liaison to government inspection personnel 4) Support product labeling in the areas of government regulations and provision of nutritional information 5) Manage the microbiology and shelf life programs 6) Support sales and marketing in regard to consumer and customer complaints and new product development 7) Process sale sample requests 8) Manage Quality Assurance staff including coaching, performance management, appraisal, setting compensation levels and problem resolution 9) Perform other duties as assigned |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) preferred 2) Minimum 8 years of experience along with a food manufacturing background 3) Self-motivated team leader |
