| Responsibilities |
1) Supervise all maintenance operations 2) Maintain all equipment and assist in the design and installation of new systems 3) Supervise foremen regarding servicing machine breakdowns
4) Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel,
establishing priorities in schedules and repairing equipment 5) Monitor purchase orders, invoice approvals, work orders and PPOs as well as ensure that work stays within the departmental budget 6) Manage personnel by assigning work duties, providing training and counseling personnel 7) Supervise and monitor work performance through the assistance of other supervisors or administrator 8) Make final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions 9) Evaluate program/work objectives and effectiveness as well as realign work and staffing assignments as needed 10) Perform other duties by coordinating work with outside inspections, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel and performing other duties as required |
| Requirements |
1) Diploma (2-year) or Associate degree 2) 5+ years of experience including 6 years in food manufacturing 3) 5 – 10 years of experience in maintenance management (frozen foods) 4) Experience in ammonia refrigeration preferred 5) EPA HCFC Certification (Technician Type I & II) 6) Experience in growing and developing a team of positive people 7) Valid driver’s license, Journeyman Electrician License and a Bakery Engineer certificate |
