Position Location Programmer/Business Analyst New York Salary Reports to Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience Director of IT Responsibilities 1) Prepare detail specifications from which programs are written 2) Design codes, tests, debugs and documents for programs 3) Provide guidance and training regularly to less experienced analyst/programmers and lead Development Team through project life cycle 4) Facilitate and analyze design and programming of viable solutions to high complexity business problems according to user specifications 5) Develop or approve detail program specifications as well as test and implement systems and enhancements using techniques that preserve system integrity 6) Comply with consistent and effective application of defined project management standards and processes 7) Ensure successful, timely and cost effective development and implementation of project deliverables like project planning, management, structured systems development life cycle, time accounting, etc. 8) Develop cost analysis estimates and manage resolution of project issues and escalate as required 9) Negotiate and manage customer relationships at the project level 10) Oversee cross-team communication as well as coach and provide technical business assistance to customers and developers 11) Provide immediate response to production problems, effective resolution and follow-up of problems as they occur 12) Review the technical work of others and deal with complex technical issues 13) Provide timely and accurate progress information to project status reports Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) in Computer Science or a related discipline 2) Minimum 7 years of experience along with 4 years in system development 3) 2 years of experience in the food industry or financial institutions or business analyst experience
