Responsibilities
1) Be accountable for manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain / planning, facilities, quality, maintenance and best practices
2) Ensure the timely manufacture of quality products, meeting applicable regulatory requirements
3) Be accountable for delivering leading efforts to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing technology, quality and processes
4) Develop and implement manufacturing strategy that ensure the plant meet or exceed customer expectations, prepare for new business opportunities and market demands, lead continuous improvement of processes and operational effectiveness and colleague development
5) Provide leadership and be accountable for setting plant goals, objectives and annual target setting for safety, quality, delivery, cost & motivation
6) Be accountable for acquiring capacity, understanding production requirements and achieving regular production performance to schedule
7) Direct investigation of manufacturing occurrences and determines corrective action
8) Keep leadership team abreast of significant issue or development identified during manufacturing activities / actions and recommend appropriate course of action to address issue
9) Ensure that quality products are manufactured to meet customer requirements
10) Maintain a working knowledge of governmental and industry quality assurance codes, safety regulations and standards and ensure compliance with policies, and procedures
11) Appraise, motivate and direct staff to ensure continued leadership development and professionalism
12) Set objective, monitor progress and prepare annual performance appraisal for direct reports
13) Review indirect staff's appraisals
14) Directly supervise site leadership staff and manufacturing employees
15) Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable country laws
16) Manage interviewing, hiring and training of employees
17) Plan, assign and direct work and appraise performance
18) Provide coaching and counseling to employees
19) Lead for plant strategy implementation
20) Examine and re-engineer operations and business processes, and develop and implement new strategies
21) Gather and analyze information skillfully to effectively manage multiple projects and make accurate and effective decisions
22) Represent the organization to external customers and respond promptly to all customer need
23) Interface with management and non-management employees in quality, manufacturing, third party vendors and consultants, governmental agencies as required
24) Work closely with leadership team and assigned business units
25) Demonstrate way to improve processes and promote quality
26) Work with integrity and ethically and maintain confidentiality
27) Use knowledge of all current GMPs, OSHA, FDA, HACCP, ISO and any other applicable standards of compliance
Requirements
1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to people have recent experience in manufacturing
