The company has many years of specialized experience in the production of canola-based products. Position Location Operations Supervisor Alberta Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience Operations/Manufacturing Manager Responsibilities 1) Maintain clean work environment for employees 2) Plan and prioritize department maintenance requirements, communicate effectively with maintenance coordinators 3) Ensure a quality standard product at each level of operation 4) Maintain weekly payroll functions 5) Closely manage appropriate inventory levels, including crushing, refining, bleaching, hydrogenation and deodorization 6) Manage and coordinate refinery operational supplies, recycling scrap products 7) Prepare daily production reports and coordinate/reconcile daily/monthly inventory count 8) Approve supplier invoices for the refinery department, reconcile discrepancies and/or cost savings as needed with the suppliers Requirements 1) Excellent managerial skills 2) Knowledge of vegetable oil processing, PLC understanding, office procedures, etc. 3) In-depth knowledge of HACCP 4) Experience of 5 to 20 years in the food / beverage industry Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
