| Responsibilities |
1) Enhance quality/food safety programs, improve MICS & HACCP score compliance 2) Effectively manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives 3) Ensure all quality programs (HACCP, PQMS, ISO), systems and compliance meet corporate specifications 4) Provide leadership/guidance to HACCP coordinator 5) Lead efforts to ensure that all internal and external audits are completed above acceptable levels 6) Work within the framework of approved procedures, policies, processes and budgets to implement and manage all quality initiatives, including training, documentation, product safety, product traceability, end-use characteristics, process testing, labeling and hold or recall advisory 7) Liaise with the Director of QA & Food Safety in respect to overall quality management 8) Ensure zero defects in the products |
| Requirements |
1) Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Quality Manager in a food company, preferably with fruit products 2) HACCP and scientific/operations background 3) In-depth knowledge of microbiology and pasteurization/concentration 4) Degree (4 years) - Food Science or Science |
