The company has state-of-the-art infrastructure and efficient nationwide distribution across the U.S. Position Location Plant Manager California Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience General Manager Responsibilities 1) Direct and supervise all plant activities to ensure that company standards are met as they relate to GMPs, safety, quality, productivity, cost control, etc. 2) Lead managers and supervisors in the execution of their responsibilities 3) Develop plans for efficient machine, manpower, and material utilization, including: a) Make sure associates and supervisors on the shift involved receive the necessary performance training b) Ensure production reports and records are completed and analyzed properly and in a timely manner c) Confirm master sanitation schedule is maintained and up to date d) Ensure approved policy and procedures are applied to the Production and Sanitation departments 4) Conduct performance evaluations and approve actions regarding pay 5) Prepare budget and forecast space in coordination with the Senior Director/GM Requirements 1) Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Food Technology, Accounting, Business Administration or Science 2) Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the food industry 3) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing a plant department; preferably in production, operations or quality assurance 4) In-depth knowledge of GMPs, regulatory agencies, successful safety program, preventative quality control, production efficiency measurement, and cost control systems 5) Strong interpersonal and communication skills 6) A thorough knowledge of all plant processing and packaging facilities and equipment, plus in-depth understanding of operations, including quality assurance, gained through seasoned experiences in the baking industry 7) A high degree of human relations skill 8) Spanish speaking a must Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
