The company also produces and supplies milk, cream and yogurt through a network of third party providers. Position Location Operations Director California Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience President Responsibilities 1) Coordinate supply chain activities and order processing, including third party manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, and delivery to end customers 2) Research and develop strategic product sourcing options 3) Function as primary point of communication between all suppliers, customers, and group companies 4) Manage relationships with 3rd party manufacturing partners 5) Define production forecasts and schedules 6) Supervise logistics for product shipments 7) Participate in contract reviews and spearhead implementation of contract terms 8) Negotiate with packaging and ingredients suppliers 9) Manage quality control to ensure high standards in product quality from partner manufacturers 10) Work with parent company in managing local quality control 11) Analyze feasibility, options, and processes for importing products 12) File for and maintain database of trademark registrations 13) Guide Marketing Manager in new product development 14) Develop and maintain policies and approval procedures for key operations areas 15) Prepare product formulation and cost sheets Requirements 1) Degree in Operations Management or related discipline 2) Experience in dairy plant management 3) 7+ years’ experience in an operations management role 4) Manufacturing, warehousing, and/or distribution experience 5) Dairy plant management experience, knowledge of dairy products and the US dairy market (regulations, contacts, etc) 6) Excellent skills in MS Office and ERP packages 7) Strong written and verbal English language, intermediate written and verbal Spanish 8) Ready to travel in US and Mexico Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
