| Responsibilities |
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control, and evaluate maintenance of processing facilities 2) Develop and implement safety procedures 3) Plan and manage departmental budget 4) Direct preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems 5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements 6) Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment towards greater efficiency 7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within maintenance/electrical departments |
| Requirements |
1) Ontario Electrical License (Ticket) 2) Thorough knowledge of HACCP/Federal Regulations 3) Must have 5 years’ meat industry experience 4) 5-10 years’ experience |
