| Responsibilities |
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control, and evaluate maintenance of processing facilities
2) Develop and implement safety procedures
3) Plan and manage departmental budget
4) Direct preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems
5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements
6) Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment towards greater efficiency
7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within maintenance/electrical departments
8) Manage maintenance crew |
| Requirements |
1) Experience leading/managing a team
2) Hands-on experience of troubleshooting equipment and keep it running
3) Strong maintenance management background
4) USDA background/experience necessary
5) Minimum 10-25 years’ experience preferred |
