| Responsibilities |
1) Handle all aspects of processing operation, including budgeting, planning, directing 2) Conduct operational and financial forecasting to ensure safe, efficient and quality operation 3) Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures and labor 4) Provide leadership, direction and training to employees to accomplish company goals and objectives 5) Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of resources 6) Identify improvement opportunities and lead change 7) Provide input to development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products 8) Participate in management activities to support company's long-term plans |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) mandatory 2) 5+ years’ production/plant management experience 3) Organic or natural foods background 4) Thorough knowledge of HAACP 5) Minimum 5-30 years’ experience preferred |
