| Responsibilities |
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control, and evaluate maintenance of processing facilities 2) Develop and implement safety procedures 3) Plan and manage departmental budget 4) Direct preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems 5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements 6) Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment towards greater efficiency 7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within maintenance/electrical departments |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) in mechanical/electrical engineering mandatory 2) Thorough knowledge of food processing plant maintenance 3) At least 5 years’ managing maintenance staff 4) Minimum 10 years’ experience preferred |
