About our client
Our client is a nationally recognized mid-sized specialty bakery that has grown from approximately 100 employees to over 400 in under 2 years. The company is known for supplying the highest quality specialty items at competitive prices.
Position Location
Quality Manager Arizona
Salary Reports to
Commensurate with experience Plant Manager
Responsibilities
1) Enhance quality/food safety programs and improve MICS & HACCP score compliance
2) Effectively manage technical staff and execute business plan objectives
3) Ensure all quality programs (HACCP, PQMS, ISO), systems and compliance meet corporate specifications
4) Provide leadership/guidance to HACCP coordinator
5) Lead efforts to ensure that all internal and external audits are completed above acceptable levels
6) Work within framework of approved procedures, policies, processes and budgets to implement and manage all quality initiatives
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) preferred
2) Experience in setting up and running Quality department
3) Thorough knowledge of quality management, audits, HACCP, etc.
4) Background in food industry, preferably bakery
5) Minimum 10-25 years’ experience preferred
