| Responsibilities |
1) Maintain/monitor/check all refrigeration equipment requirements
2) Participate in plant equipment repairs/installations
3) Interface with necessary contractual and inspection departments for corrective requirements
4) Carry out oral/printed work requests
5) Apply corrective measures in timely fashion utilizing computerized maintenance system |
| Requirements |
1) Valid 2nd Class Standardized Power Engineering certificate or equivalent
2) Knowledge of natural gas fired steam boiler system and ammonia refrigeration systems
3) Experience in food/meat an asset
4) Minimum 5-20 years’ experience preferred
5) Familiarity with system computer interfacing
6) Knowledge of PLC systems
7) Experience working with preventive maintenance program
8) Ability to ensure safe and efficient operation of large ammonia refrigeration, boiler and pre-treatment plant |
