| Responsibilities |
1) Formulate ingredients used in manufacture of process cheese products in accordance with established formulations, government regulations and standards of quality
2) Liase with support departments to ensure financial optimization of ingredients, inventory levels, formulations and process
3) Provide technical leadership to quality control personnel, manufacturing and maintenance departments
4) Contribute to production efficiency and cost control
5) Take lead role in initiating and activating process improvement and troubleshooting initiatives
6) Identify and support internal CI initiatives as well as R&D and company wide CI initiatives
7) Maintain formulation and data base integrity accuracy for achieving high quality product |
| Requirements |
1) Degree/Diploma in Food Science or Food Chemistry mandatory
2) 5 or more years of progressive experience in dairy/food manufacturing and product development
3) Understanding of food ingredient technology
4) Experience in product formulations, manufacturing application of SPC
5) Strong analytical and problem solving skills
6) Effective verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills
7) Ability to strategically approach troubleshooting situations
8) Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office and SAP
9) Minimum 5-20 years’ experience required |
