| Responsibilities |
1) Maintain daily communications with suppliers/processing plants
2) Source new suppliers whenever needed
3) Work closely with QA/Manufacturing Department in ensuring new suppliers meet standards/expectations
4) Liaise with suppliers and customers on product and quality related issues
5) Ensure appropriate systems are in place to ensure consistent product quality
6) Provide market update and analysis whenever needed
7) Supervise overseas processing plant
8) Liaise with Processing Plant and Sales Department to ensure consistent supply as well as efficient inventory flow
9) Supervise procurement/production/inventory control functions
10) Handle Traffic/Distribution Department to ensure all orders are delivered on time
11) Work closely with sales team to meet projected sales |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) mandatory, preferably MBA
2) Background in Shipping, Buying and Inventory Planning with seafood experience
3) Traffic and Distribution experience in Senior Manager/Director role
4) Senior level profit/loss experience
5) Thorough knowledge of import/export regulations
6) Minimum 10-30 years’ experience preferred
7) In-depth knowledge of domestic transportation/warehousing/logistics
8) Hands-on in inventory management
9) Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with suppliers and customers |
