| Responsibilities |
1) Plan and coordinate beef operations, including purchasing, scheduling, producing, shipping, and controlling inventories 2) Ensure productivity and quality objective are met or exceeded 3) Manage assigned staff by assigning work, providing necessary training and evaluating performance 4) Recruit employees as needed to ensure organizational goals for diversity, career development, productivity, performance management and employee involvement 5) Maintain and update specifications, standards, and rules 6) Disseminate information to staff and other departments 7) Ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory policies and regulations 8) Monitor and evaluate statistical data, operation procedures, and other information to achieve customer and company objectives |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) in Food Science, Accounting, or Business Administration 2) Background in beef processing 3) Experience overseeing purchasing, scheduling, production, shipping etc. 4) Excellent communication and time management skills 5) 7+ years’ managing employees within manufacturing environment 6) Knowledge of inventory control an added advantage 7) Minimum 7-30 years’ experience preferred |
