Responsibilities
1) Work with other department managers to plan, organize, lead, direct, control, and evaluate the maintenance of processing facilities 2) Develop and implement safety procedures 3) Plan and manage departmental budget 4) Direct the preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and electrical systems 5) Develop measurement systems leading to efficiency improvements 6) Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment towards greater efficiency 7) Lead HACCP and food safety/quality systems within maintenance/electrical departments
Requirements
1) Maintenance Manager experience preferred 2) Food/beverage experience required, dairy would be an added advantage 3) Experience with PLC/Automation a definite asset 4) Minimum 5-30 years’ experience preferred
