| Responsibilities |
1) Develop and supervise corporate quality standards and food safety programs to exceed customer service 2) Lead continuous improvement efforts regarding product quality and production efficiency 3) Ensure compliance with federal food laws relative to production, sanitation and finished product labeling 4) Establish programs and procedures to ensure continuous product quality improvement and product safety 5) Develop and oversee processes to ensure compliance with weight, labeling, allergens, GMP standards, and HACCP requirements 6) Provide leadership in assessment and qualification of new suppliers, co-packers and co-manufacturers 7) Develop and maintain manufacturing produce database |
| Requirements |
1) Degree in Food Science/Biology/Chemistry preferred 2) Minimum of 10 years of experience in food industry, preferably confectionery 3) Extensive technical/ professional knowledge including GMPs, HACCP, SPC, Quality Auditing, troubleshooting, and allergens 4) Minimum 10-30 years’ experience 5) Strong background in developing quality standards, food safety programs, CI, audits, etc. |
