Position Location Production Manager Illinois Salary Reports to Commensurate with experience Plant Manager Responsibilities 1) Develop direct reports to meet safety, productivity, cost, human resource, and staffing goals 2) Manage supervisors to produce quality product, meet productivity goals within cost standards 3) Establish departmental operating budgets and adhere to the same 4) Act as communication link between all departments to ensure company goals and objectives are met 5) Ensure food, labor and packaging variances are within budgeted standards 6) Work with HR, staff and hourly employees to maintain positive human resource environment 7) Manage daily, weekly and monthly sanitation of the facility Requirements 1) Degree (4 year) preferably in Food Technology, Engineering, Business, or Sciences 2) 7-10 years in food manufacturing with production floor experience 3) At least 5 years as Production Manager 4) Prior experience in a large non-union plant 5) Excellent communication skills 6) High energy level and excellent follow up skills 7) Creative problem solving, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities 8) Minimum of 5-30 years’ experience preferred 9) Knowledge of Spanish an asset 10) Food or beverage experience in snacks and confectionary preferred Contact Please send your resume to: food@fepsearchgroup.com
