| Responsibilities |
1) Define, propose and monitor implementation of factory engineering/maintenance teams plans and objectives 2) Propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources related to factory engineering/maintenance 3) Lead and coordinate factory engineering/maintenance team 4) Maintain competencies, motivation and performance to achieve objectives 5) Propose and control factory engineering/maintenance budget and capital investment plans 6) Ensure that engineering/maintenance teams work with factory teams to insure KPIs are obtained 7) Maintain clear and open communications between maintenance/engineering groups 8) Maintain engineering/maintenance expertise in all areas through developmental and training programs 9) Ensure engineering/maintenance drives engineering principles and GMPs 10) Protect proprietary technology through careful relationships with third parties 11) Ensure justification, request for approval and reporting of factories capital investments are within guidelines for capital investment 12) Work creatively within the group to design projects with high degree of flexibility 13) Support and recommend new technologies that improve the overall operations 14) Execute M&I in accordance with maintenance strategy 15) Ensure engineering drives energy and environmental reporting system 16) Manage all outsourcing and contracting as it relates to engineering and maintenance departments |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering 2) Project Engineering or related experience with major facility 3) Minimum 5-7 years’ managerial experience 4) Excellent communication skills 5) Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities 6) Minimum 8-30 years’ experience 7) Ability to manage both Engineering and Maintenance departments 8) Food or beverage experience, preferable in snacks and confectionary 9) Knowledge of Spanish an asset |
