Responsibilities
1) Direct planning and scheduling of all maintenance and project 2) Handle implementation, maintenance and updating of Standard Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) 3) Build part descriptions 4) Direct maintenance stores in keeping low inventory investment, high level of service while maintaining agreed upon budgets 5) Supervise operation and maintenance of buildings and building equipment 6) Oversee hourly employees including Maintenance Mechanics, Stores Attendants, Machinists and outside contractors 7) Negotiate annual contracts involving overall plant operations 8) Recommend, plan, write the request and implement extraordinary maintenance and capital projects 9) Recommend proper staffing of Maintenance Department 10) Participate in preparation of Maintenance and Sanitation Department budgets 11) Insure reporting employees adhere to all rules, safety programs and GMPs 12) Participate in programs that effect divisions’ adherence with state and federal laws and regulations and company policies and procedures 13) Recommend and implement training programs 14) Manage and direct MRO spending
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year), preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2) 3-5 years’ supervisory/managerial experience 3) Knowledge of preventative maintenance and Maximo/SAP strongly preferred 4) Excellent verbal and written communication and good math skills 5) Strong organizational and leadership abilities 6) Knowledge of MS Office programs 7) Ability to work any shift and overtime as necessary 8) Minimum 3-30 years’ experience preferred
