| Responsibilities |
1) Evaluate and implement basic product recipe processes
2) Evaluate process capability of each new product process
3) Drive manufacturing reliability and flexibility via improvements in process capability of existing processes
4) Handle manufacturing equipment standardization by identifying critical operating control points and documenting
5) Design experiments
6) Act as internal consultant for operational and maintenance training
7) Ensure new or revised formulations are compatible with plant processes
8) Act as contact person for new or revised formulations to be run/tested in plant
9) Work with formulation scientists to review new or revised formulations, review data, assumptions, etc.
10) Develop process methods and measurements to ensure product characteristics are measurable and quantifiable
11) Train plant personnel on developed methods and measurements
12) Lead all formulation projects
13) Work with processing engineers to ensure proper testing is completed when running new processes
14) Ensure all commissioning paperwork is completed for all process related testing
15) Coordinate all testing with Quality team leader
16) Work with Operations to support team development |
| Requirements |
1) Degree (4 year) mandatory
2) BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Food Engineering
3) 3-7 years’ experience in Process Engineering
4) Process experience in food industry preferably in dying, mixing and processing
5) Excellent interpersonal and team skills
6) Minimum 4-25 years’ experience preferred |
