Responsibilities
1) Handle all aspects of processing operation, including budgeting, planning and directing 2) Carry out operational and financial forecasting to ensure safe, efficient and quality operation 3) Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures and labor 4) Provide leadership, direction and training to employees to accomplish company goals and objectives 5) Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of resources 6) Identify improvement opportunities and lead change 7) Provide input for development of product strategy & research and development of new and emerging products 8) Participate in management activities to support company’s long-term plans
Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) preferred 2) Background in HACCP/Food Safety 3) People first managing mentality 4) Minimum 5-25 years’ experience preferred 5) Bilingual in Spanish 6) Meat background preferred 7) Thorough knowledge of production or plant management
