| Responsibilities |
1) Direct and lead staff in everyday scheduling, preventative maintenance and repair of all production equipment
2) Accountable for multiple sites
3) Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times
4) Source and order parts and maintain spare parts inventory
5) Ensure provisions of collective bargaining agreement are understood and adhered to
6) Initiate training within department as required
7) Participate in hiring process of new employees |
| Requirements |
1) Diploma or degree preferred
2) Engineer or licensed journeyman with electromechanical background
3) 5 years maintenance management experience
4) Working knowledge of PLCs
5) Familiarity with automated process/packaging technology an asset
6) Demonstrated decision-maker with ‘hands-on’ approach to leading and motivating
7) Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
8) Flexible to working weekends
9) Minimum 10-25 years’ experience preferred |
